Essential Practices
Your Temple Cipher Key
Your Temple Cipher Key is a sacred authentication card unique to you. It contains a grid of two-character codes mapped to planetary symbols (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars). When the Temple needs to verify your identity, you'll be asked for a specific code from your card.
Why a cipher card? Unlike passwords that can be stolen digitally, your physical cipher card cannot be hacked remotely. Even if someone gains access to your account, they cannot complete sensitive actions without your physical card.
Generate your cipher card at auth.templeoflight.online/cipher-card
Download or print your card immediately
Save to Signal Notes - use the "Save to Signal" button to copy your cipher to Note to Self
Store your physical card in a secure location
Never share your cipher card or codes with anyone
Important: If you lose your cipher card and haven't saved it to Signal, you'll need to generate a new one. Keep at least one backup!
Pin Your Important Chats
Pinning conversations keeps your most important chats at the top of Signal. Never miss a Temple message and get quick access to your secure notes.
Open Signal and find the chat you want to pin
Long-press (hold) on the conversation
Select "Pin" from the menu
The chat will stay at the top with a pin icon
We recommend pinning:

Download and install Tailscale for your device
Open the app and sign in with your email
Click your Sacred Invitation Link (sent via Signal) to join the Temple network

Disappearing Messages
Messages that automatically delete after being read leave no trace. This is one of the most powerful privacy features available.
Open any Signal conversation
Tap the contact name at the top
Select Disappearing Messages
Choose your timer: 4 hours or 24 hours recommended
Pro tip: Set a default timer for all new conversations in Settings > Privacy > Default Timer
Use "Note to Self" for Storage
Signal's Note to Self chat is a secure place to store information you need to remember. It's encrypted and stays only on your device.
In Signal, tap New Message
Search for "Note to Self" and select it
Use this chat to store order details, tracking info, or anything you need
Enable Disappearing Messages here too for extra privacy
Important: Avoid saving sensitive information in regular notes apps, screenshots, or cloud services. Keep everything within Signal.
Signal Privacy Settings
These settings harden Signal against various threats. Take a few minutes to configure them.
Screen Lock: Settings > Privacy > Screen Lock
Registration Lock: Settings > Account > Registration Lock
Relay Calls: Settings > Privacy > Advanced > Always Relay Calls
Typing Indicators: Settings > Privacy > Turn off if you prefer
Read Receipts: Settings > Privacy > Turn off if you prefer
Device Protection
Use a strong passcode (6+ digits) or biometric lock
Enable auto-lock after 1-2 minutes of inactivity
Keep your operating system updated
Disable lock screen notifications for Signal
Advanced: Consider using a dedicated device for Temple communications - an old phone works perfectly.
Mindful Practices
No screenshots of conversations or order details
Don't share Temple links or information outside Signal
Use code words when discussing sensitive matters
Clear conversations after orders are complete
Trust your intuition - if something feels off, reach out
May these protections create a sacred container for your journey.
Within this sanctuary, you are safe to explore, grow, and ascend.
